Villarani Govender is the founding Director of Villarani Govender Attorneys and a legal practitioner with more than 24 years of experience in legal practice.
Her career includes extensive experience in litigation, personal injury, insurance and Road Accident Fund matters. She has previous experience as a claims handler at the Road Accident Fund and subsequently served as a panel attorney for the RAF and major state entities for more than a decade.

She holds a BProc, an LLM in Corporate Law and a Certificate in Medicine & Law. She is also an Accredited Mediator and has specialist experience in insurance-related disputes. She has served as a Contract Adjudicator for the National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFOSA), formerly the Short-Term Insurance Ombudsman.
Her approach combines technical legal knowledge, careful preparation, clear communication and personal attention.
